說到春季秘境景點，有著"上帝的部落"稱號的司馬庫斯絕對是遊客的首選，去過的人都直呼一輩子必須去過一趟！司馬庫斯栽種了超過2千株的櫻花樹，舉凡山櫻花、八重櫻、吉野櫻、等櫻花通通有。而司馬庫斯賞櫻大致分為4個賞櫻地點，分別為「迎賓大門」旁的昭和櫻、「巨木登山口停車場」周邊的櫻花林、登山步道2公里處的「櫻花隧道」以及司馬庫斯巨木群。遊客可在上述幾個地點欣賞到滿山遍野的櫻花景象，若是颳起微微陣風，還有機會欣賞到"櫻吹雪"的絕美景象。
